BMW introduced the updated version of the 7 Series, which has changed its appearance and modernized engines, and market sales are expected to start in April
From its predecessor, the new sedan can be different thanks to the soaring “kidneys” we first saw at the big crossover X7. In addition, the car also has new adaptive headlights, including modified bonnet and fenders. In the back there is a light line that connects the light groups.
The new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and multimedia with the new BMW 7.0 operating system, which includes an Intelligent Personal Assistant voice assistant, is activated with the phrase “OK, BMW” and can command most of the vehicle functions.
In the standard equipment, the model already includes wireless charging for smartphones, as well as a modern parking assistant, which, without the driver’s involvement in automatic mode, can be reversed. The vehicle also has the latest BMW’s innovative system, which retains the road up to 50 meters, and then can use the same information to autonomously reverse.
The top version of the model stays with a 6.6-liter twin turbocharged W12 engine that develops 609 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The upgraded 4.4-liter V8 turbo engine is also available for the sedan. It offers 530 hp and 750 Nm, which is 80 K. and 100 Nm more than ever. With this, the limousine accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds.
The “Week” will also be available in a hybrid version with a 6-cylinder petrol engine.
The total power of this version is 394 hp, and only the current can reach up to 64 km. The model also offers three six-cylinder units with a capacity of 3.0 liters, developing 249, 320 and 400 horsepower. All engines are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a Launch Control system in the basic equipment of the model.
