DETROIT 2019: CADILLAC SHOWED OFF ITS NEW SUV, THE HT6 MODEL

Cadillac during the Detroit Auto Show demonstrated its new SUV model, the HT6 targeted for the market 2020.

It is an address for the SUV with three rows of seats, and it will be located next to the XT5 and Escalade models. At the presentation of the company announced that their new model was made on the well-known C1XX platform that is also used in the Traverse and Buick Enclave models.

As expected, the model draws its inspiration from the Escala concept where the front mask is perceptible and has distinctive lights. The interior of the outfit is quite spacious and luxurious. It uses high quality materials such as wood, leather and carbon fiber, something that looks like a company like Cadillac. In addition, the model has rich equipment such as seatbelt and ventilation, a Bose Performance Series sound system with 14 speakers, an infotainment system with an 8 inch touch screen and many other things.

Impressive information on the Cadillac’s novelty is that the luggage compartment has a volume of 356 liters, and it increases to 2228 liters by folding the third and second row seats. With its weight of 2127 pounds, the XT6 is capable of pulling as much as 1814 pounds.

The car is powered by a 3.6 liter V6 petrol engine with 314 horsepower and 373 Nm, rear with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a standard traction on all four wheels. XT6 on the market will appear this spring, and its price will be additionally announced.
