Potential flagship in the Hyundai SUV series, the new Palisade represents their most technologically advanced model by now
This year, the Korean manufacturer introduced us a new generation of its well-known SUV model Santa Fe, but in order to satisfy the appetites of all customers, this time they boasted of its new and even larger Palisade.
The new Korean SUV has an outstanding style and modern design. The front part is characterized by a huge and impressive cascade grille, on whose sides are two-way LED headlights. The rear part also has two-piece LED headlights that provide a distinctive light signature on this SUV model.
The size of the vehicle comes to light when seen from the side profile, where the massive lacquers above the wheels are complemented by 20-inch wheels.
Inside there are seven seats that contribute to increasing the convenience of this model.
Perfect for multi-family families, Palisade is equipped with as many as seven USB connectors as well as sixteen cup holders. The cabinet is coated with Premium Nappa leather, featuring a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Qi wireless charging, Infinity audio system with Clari-Fi and QuantumLogic technology, and the ability to connect two devices via Bluetooth at the same time, one for a mobile connection, and the other for audio streaming.
As for technologies, Hyundai took care that the new Palisade is full of safety features and amenities. Thus, it implemented systems such as: head-up display, adaptive cruise control, internal communication system, Stop and Go system, help for avoiding advanced and rear impacts, pedestrian detection system, detection systems for the so-called. blind spot, vehicle positioning and retaining system in the tape, high beam assist, driver warning system with reduced attention, and others.
The new Palisade will be powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that delivers 291 horsepower and a torque of 355 Nm. It comes in combination with an eight-speed automatic transmission and will be offered in two-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive variants. Available with normal operating modes like Normal, Sport and Smart, plus the newly developed Snow mode for slippery conditions.
This Korean SUV model will begin selling the US market in mid-2019.
