The new Audi SQ8 is presented with a 4.0 liter V8 diesel engine and a power output of 429 horsepower
The German manufacturer introduced the long-awaited version of its flagship SUV class, the powerful SQ8. With a total power of 429 horsepower and a torque of 900 Nm from 1000 rpm, the German SUV accelerates to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds before reaching the electronically limited maximum speed of 250 km / h.
The vehicle’s motor drive includes a 48-volt lithium-ion battery that allows the electric compressor to virtually eliminate the entire turbo stop. Buyers can drive this SUV to clean electricity at speeds up to 22 km / h.
Audi also equipped the new SQ8 with carbon fiber brakes, and also added the adaptive air suspension and the Drive Select Dynamic Steering System. On the list of additional options, the all-wheel steering system is offered along with the sports differential.
The exterior changes include an exhaust system with four exhaust pipes, a silver rear diffuser, sports wheels, badges ‘S’ and new air ducts. Inside the SQ8 you can see the presence of custom-made details, such as stainless steel pedals, carved S logos, and leather and Alcantara ends.
Audi said that it is also working on the petrol version of the new SQ8, which will be sold in certain markets.
